Developing the BIO Video Pack

by | May 27, 2020

As the Coronavirus and COVID-19 began to severely impact our country, it quickly became apparent that the impact on our economy and businesses would be astronomical. As a business owner myself, I was mostly blind to the impact that something like this would have on me personally until we were already in the middle of the lockdowns. My wife and I were in Hawaii for a “baby moon” to celebrate her pregnancy, and we watched the news unfold in California and around the country as city after city began to impose strict lockdown measures. We were lucky that we were in Hawaii while this was happening, as we avoided much of the initial panic but we were very unaware of what kind of a situation we would return to when we got back to California.

When we did return, we spent a few days getting some supplies and taking care of a few things that had been put on hold before our trip due to a busy period for me with multiple shoots and quick edits that needed to be finished before leaving for a week. Even though I was trying not to think about it, it was already becoming apparent at this point in time that business was going to take a huge hit.

As the days and weeks passed by and I had more and more projects canceled or pushed back, I realized that I needed to do SOMETHING to not only help pull myself out of this bad situation, but that I could use my skills to help other people in my situation. I always talk about how video content can be used to solve “business problems” but this intentionally vague language never really seemed to have something that could be universally applied across all businesses until this pandemic hit us.

What I created is a package that combines the powerful tool of the Video Business Card with several other pieces of content (an advertisement and a series of videos for social media) with the specific messaging of being open for business. I realized that just like me and my customers, other consumers don’t know what is and isn’t open, who has or hasn’t gone out of business, and they’re somewhat scared to spend their money but at the same time they’re DESPERATE for their lives to return to normal. As the country begins to reopen and businesses are allowed to welcome customers back through their doors, it is IMPERATIVE to remind your customers that you exist and that you can provide them a taste of that “normal” that they’re all looking for.

Whether you’re a B2C or a B2B company, you have customers looking to be guided to a purchasing decision. The BIO Video Pack can help to reach them and position yourself as the logical choice for that decision. Customers will buy from companies or people that they KNOW, LIKE, and TRUST. Each of these things is accomplished with the BIO Video Pack.
